Sound Waves DJ/Karaoke Service is the leader of Karaoke Entertainment in the Southern New England Area. Based out of Fall River, Ma we have had the pleasure of playing in the biggest venues from Newport and beyond, giving you the ultimate Karaoke experience. Knowledge of knowing what equipment to use where is our forté. We have systems that can do the large venues that hold 250 and people and over.

Each component has been selected to help give the best sound for a venue of this size. The tops are JBL Eon Powered Speakers. At 400 Watts a piece they pack a serious punch, combined with the Yorkville LS 808 Subwoofer powered with a Peavy 1200 Watt Amp and there is plenty of bottom end to go with the punch. All of this is mixed together with a Mackie CFX12 Mixing Console, the most versatile console in it's class. Of course we use the CAVS DVD 203g Player for all our karaoke needs. This player has the ability to read music off a hard drive, a hard drive that we have painstakingly loaded with only the best songs available. We also feature a quad wireless package so everyone can feel free to sing wherever they want.

Also you can rest easy knowing that we take care of our equipment. No broken down. cruddy looking equipment here. Our stuff is maintained and cleaned on a weekly basis. Speaker Grilles are painted twice a year as the appearance of the equipment is just as important to us as the use of it. Also bear in mind that we always have access to equipment for emergency purposes. You never know what is going to happen at a live show, and equipment of course over a period of time no matter how much you take care of it breaks down once in awhile, but while other shows would have to shut down for the night, our shows go on with spare equipment ready to step in at a moments notice. Lighting is available for all shows that we deem it necessary to have. We have lights for every size venue, and we know what a difference some lights make for a night.

The hosts of the show are always fun, energetic, and equipment savvy. Their job not only entails running the night smoothly, but also keeping all the sound levels in check, so nobody in the venue has to plug their ears from the wonderful singing that goes on during a karaoke show, or clean out your ear drums from the pumping bass during a lively upbeat dance song. The host may start off the evening if you are doing karaoke, and sing for a portion of the night, depending upon the size of the singing rotation, and of course the host is always available to lend a helping hand to those who need to know how a song is sung. The hosts are not there to critique the singers only to make them feel comfortable and to make sure that they have a fun karaoke experience.

Of course our show wouldn't be anything without the great selection of music we have. Again it's not the quantity but the quality of the selections. Customers have loved the selections that they get to choose from in the main catalog, as it really does have the best 22,000 songs available. Of course we get additions once a month, and we spend money on discs that customers ask us for. Again this is what sets us apart from our competition. On the flip side our DJ selection is somewhere in the 20,000 title range, we stay up to date with the latest hits on the radio, and we keep a variety of the classics available, cause we know that dancing the night away just means one type of music.

We are here to make the patrons in the venue feel welcome. If they want to sing ,our professionalism in helping them find the right song for them within our selection makes them feel like they are being attended to, when we're DJ'ing the customer requests pace where our music selection of the night will go, if everyone in the room is dancing to the 80's music, we're not going to be playing oldies, or stuff that doesn't fit in.. Of course that means they stay longer, and spend more money which of course is the whole reason we are hired to provide entertainment in the first place.
